About
Bird Club began with a simple problem, a lifelong birder who couldn’t find clothing that matched the way birding feels: intentional, curious, crafted, a little magical.
So Brett started making his own.
People kept asking about the things he was wearing.
He kept saying, “One day.”
But with young kids and a demanding job in television, that day stayed on the shelf.
Then everything shifted.
When Brett, Brendan, and Ana, friends who had spent 6+ years shaping award-winning work at VICE, were suddenly laid off, the pause created room for something to surface. A notebook full of ideas. Years of birding and filmmaking. Endless conversations about design, culture, craft, and how none of the existing birding apparel reflected any of it.
So they built Bird Club.
A place where clothing is made the way birding feels: slow, thoughtful, observant.
Where pieces are built from the fabric up, not printed on blanks.
Where no AI, no clipart, and no shortcuts ever touch the work.
Where sustainability is the baseline, not the headline.
Where every detail, every color, stitch, and decision, is inspired by the hidden world that opens when you start paying attention.
Bird Club isn’t just for people who bird.
It’s for people who notice things.
It’s for people who care about craft.
It’s for people who like their clothes to actually mean something.
And for anyone who’s ever felt that quiet thrill when movement in a tree has the potential to be anything. Welcome, you’re in the right place.
